    Love the design and the silky binding. It, too, was my favorite part of any blankie.

    What a great modern organic feel you gave this quilt. I hope your friend LOVES it. It's different and unique. I love the modern spin you've given this very traditional block.

    Yeah, using a pre-made satin binding was definitely an experiment on this one. I think it went well.

    Trixie is indeed a big sweet spaniel/poodle mix. Her hair's currently cut all short for Houston summers.
