    I just recently purchased that book. Thanks for the idea of using felted wool for the applique'. Your quilt is lovely.

    A word of caution when reading directions. They tell you to cut specific size background blocks. What they don't tell you is to add some to allow for the applique to draw the background in. I think most everyone knows that when you applique you have to allow for this. I think they should have specified this in the instructions, but they didn't. Good luck with your quilt. It really is fun but is also a lot of work. Would love to see a picture when you finish.
