Default Added Stenciled Border on teddy bear quilt

I was reading on the board the other day & a new quilter asked about quilting borders. As I read the answers, I realized I'd never thought about it & have just started getting more creative with my FMQ. I have been trying a lot of new things with my quilting lately. I'd made this teddy bear recently, but had left the border plain, so after reading that, I decided to put the roping on the borders to help hold it's shape even after washing. I went back & forth over the lines four times, but the picture doesn't really show it standing out like it does on the close up. It really made it even more special for our little great grandson. Please keep all this great information coming ladies!! :-)

How cute, what a nice touch your quilted bears add to the overall quilt.
