Default Advent Calander From Norway

This little treasure I picked up as a kit from a very small craft shop in the Yarra Valley east of Melbourne. It is an advent calander from Norway. All the little windows are pockets for little treasures at Christmas time.

I did the border in Thai Silk. It goes to a good home at my friend Joanna's tomorrow (she fell in love with it when she came for a visit last week) so what better place for it to be (I have visitation rights for all of my quilts I give away).

I thought I had better take a photograph to share with you .

Very pretty. Love the little pocket idea. It's amazing how different countries do things. IN the usa, you always see the dates consecutively, but I like this idea cause the child would have to actually look for the date.

Love it - if I come to your house & fall in love with one of your quilts, will you gift it to me? I give very generous visitation. LOL. Great job!
