    And here's why -
    The quilt is great as it is, but look how the light border just disappears, even against the wall. It fades out. The darker border will frame the whole quilt, and then the lights will REALLY sparkle.
    I agree, sometimes you need a dark, to help make the light shine :D:D:D This quilt is a beauty!!

    Beautiful...as many have already said, the red binding would be fabulous. Nice job, be sure to post pic when all done. Thank you for sharing.

    I have always liked having the end/last border be in the darker colors to make everything in the middle pop. But that is just my preference. Your quilt is very pretty as is, but I personally think the dark would just finish it nicely.

    I think that you need a dark border to pull it together. The yellow just fades away.
