This is my kind of quilt. Makes me happy just to see it. I like it with the 1/2 square triangles, but only if you can put a final border in the blue you have or a darker blue to frame it. Love the quilt, and congratulations!

audition...piano keys...I think the half square triangles are a little big...but I have to audition and look to see what I like when I am designing.

The keys may make it too busy.
    Good Luck!

Your quilt is beautiful! I think the HST in the border is too much. It takes away from your gorgeous braids. If you want it wider can you put another row of the braids? Then keep the blue borders?

it's very nice. depending on the finished size you're shooting for, i think the triangles and then a blue border would look great. it that makes it too big, you can stop now and it would still be excellent.

in a colorful scrap quilt like yours, some more color isn't overpowering, so remember: too much is not enough. LOL!

The blue border finishes it off beautifully.

Very pretty and you can do it either way and it will look good.

    I agree with the others.

If you need it bigger, check to see if you have enough of any one of the fabrics that you used in the braids to make another plain border.

Otherwise, it's beautiful the way it is.

What are the measurements? Is the top big enough as it is?
