OK, made me go look! No, she didn't put it there. I wonder why she put it on the book's block? I did put it on mine, but it doesn't really show up in the photo. Does in person, though.

Mine, too Kathy. Can't really see it in the pic I posted, but when you see the block in person, it looks really pretty. It just adds another little touch to the block. ;-)

Yea, I'm glad I put it on as it does add that little something.

I have to say it looks better in person - you really cant see the embroidery that well in the picture... maybe the night lite?

gus-gus, my grandbaby and I just love your block! You all are helping me make this child a quilter!
Hopefully, next week, she and I are going to make her baby sister, a "wee" sized pillow and case, bc she wants to learn more about sewing!
I'm going to put a cushion in my sewing chair for her and I will have to raise up the foot pedal too.
    She wants to "drive"!

oh mousie :) I know that one!! how old is she??
I have speed control on my machine and 2yr ago I had Evan [then 3] and Jack [handprint only-then 1] help make mommy a big bag for her birthday. Evan wanted to sew like Gus soooo bad. I let him push the pedal because I didnt quite want him near the needle then! I turned their handprints into hearts and flamingos. Bag was wonderful - she uses it all the time. When you ask Ev what part he did - he says " I sewed the foot part!"

okie dokie artichokies...I brought the g. horse for your viewing ease, (and mine)...I am still learning how to use my new camera.
Hopefully you can see the colors, stitches etc. and I won't have to hide my face...oh, btw, the orange-reds are so similar, these will not be placed next to each other.
I was trying to be careful about that, but...well...you know ;)

This should be the brighter one, showing more true color and stitches around hearts

I think this is the darker one
