Losie, I tried the link, but the video was not available. Do you have another one? :D

Patti, I am doing needleturn, and like you I am determined to conquer this!! The great thing is that I know WHY I want to conquer it. It's so I can begin my masterpiece. :D I know I've mentioned it before, and I know it must sound silly to everyone, but I have this dream quilt in my head that I want to make as my legacy quilt. Goofy sounding, yes, but it's my dream, and after the AOTH quilt is completed (well, at least the top  ), it will no longer just be a dream. It will be on it's way to being a reality. :D :D

When I get to those little narrow points, I do trim out as much as I dare. After the point is finished I take my really sharp little scissors and go back and trim away anything that is still sticking out. Those little buggers aren't going to beat me!!! I will force them to do what I want!!!!

I have now finished my block, but I haven't taken a picture of it yet. I'm going to do that in a few minutes and will then be back to post it. When you look at it REALLY closely, you can see all the nasty little points, but when you stand back away from it, it doesn't look half bad!!! :D

Oh your colors are perfect, what a beautiful block, and I agree with Elle - nothing wrong with your points either - that I can see!!

Yup! I agree, that block looks really fine to me, too.

Those points are something else - just exactly where ARE we supposed to put the seam allowance? Especially with those that really taper down to nothing!!!

Looks good to me Patty, Mine is pictured on page one - and yes, I have bumps at my points too, as far as I am concerned, you can't do those points without a bump.
