I love the flowers Hearts and Garlands pattern, they have it on Amazon. However I have the thought to do the Little Brown Bird, its different and I like a challenge. However I think it looks equally difficult.

The Little Brown Bird is out of Print so they think they can charge an arm and a leg for it now, think thats outrageous

I can't wait to get the book and look in it. Amazon/author didn't allow peeking, and this will be my first time buying a book for more than 1-2 dollars that I haven't 'seen' first!
I love flowers etc. so it would have to be a really stinky book for me not to like it, lol! :XD:
My book came and I love it! It's a lot like AOTH without swirlies, but I think it makes up for that with more pieces!

Ooooh Florence, beauty! I'm doing the 7" blocks and currently working (or I should say re-working) on # 24 but I have been skipping around a little and not doing the embroidery.

    I'm jumping around...like I always do...working on #9, #10 + #11 and got fabrics washed for them and #8.
I embroider, and wash, I trace and I press...whatever I feel up to doing for as long as I last.
Anyway...Florence, that block is so yummy...I said all that to say this: I gotta get more, um,...put more variety? in my blocks, bc y'all are using lots of colors and making super blocks.
But...it takes me so long to make a decision and stand on it, that I will keep these the way they are.
Keep em coming ladies...it spurs me on!!! :XD:
