    Hi Lizzy,

We have a schedule for doing the blocks that is arranged from easy to hardest, but I think any of the blocks which have larger images is easier than those with lots of small pieces.

By the way Lizzie, some are doing 7" block which is slightly harder when needle turning and some have enlarged the pieces to 10" which makes them easier and also makes for a bigger quilt.

Lizzy, I started out making my blocks with fusible (WonderUnder) and machine applique and bobbin work for the embroidery, but I wasn't happy with the Razzle Dazzle thread I was using for bobbin work. It was too jerky. I knew I could do better, so I decided to enlarge the blocks, hand applique & hand embroider. I should have stayed with the machine applique and switched to the hand embroidery, but I didn't, so now I'm doing 10" blocks all by hand. I found the machine embroidery to be VERY easy and speedy.

Come on, Lizzy, just jump right in. I think there are quite a few who will be doing fusible. It will work very well. You'll have lots of control for those little scrolls too.

Mousie...lol, my, my....you are the sneaky one! Elle...I'm almost certain that Tennessee is the absolute closest to Spain! (Of course, I didn't do all that well in geography  )
