    Losie,
You see lots of errors? I only see pretty.....and that verigated embroidery around your lily pad is a great eye catcher.

Great block Losie! You are mastering the N/T quite well in MHO! I love your fussy cutting and I really looked at that embroidery...how did you do that??? Its not varigated, is it??

I used 2 strands of DMC gold rayon floss and 2 strands of DMC lavender cotton floss.

Both of your blocks are so beautiful!!! I love the colors and the details you put on them.

Kathy, did you use a sparkly embroidery floss?

Great jobs on these!!!!!!! I'm not a participant in this, but I absolutely LOVE checking in from time to time to see how you are doing!!  I must say, however, it is SO-O-O-O tempting to join -- if it isn't too late! :?

I seem to be the only one around to answer your question. In actual fact the correct start date was the 5th June 2011 so we officially have just started so please join us. Some of us did "Jump the Gun" and started a little early but only a few of us so everyone has just started posting their blocks.

If you go to the bottom of this page and click on Topic List you will see Affairs of the Heart. There is a thread for all the blocks plus the original thread called Affairs of the Heart Cyber Sew. Please join us its great fun and we all help each other, lots of advice and help.

No sparkles for me this time. I was using Razzle Dazzle, but switched (for some dumb reason) to hand applique & hand embroidery along with enlarging blocks to 10". Didn't like how the RD was turning out, so instead of just hand embroidering everything at the 7" size, I blew it up & started completely over. I have completed 10 blocks so far. I had all of them appliqued, but not all embroidered & geriatric kitty pooped on the stack of those that weren't yet quilted, so threw the whole lot away! I am in love with this new batch, so all is not wasted.
