I, my dear ;) , AOTH-d, all day yesterday.
I have a great set up at my recliner in living room, but found out, that for me with my digestive stuff...not so great to sit hunched over like that for hours.
I did get a lot done...albeit I do work slowly..
so today, I shall be working from dining room table.
I just purchased a little three drawer thingy on wheels and I can easily 'wheel' it in there
It won't be long... ;) ;) ;)

thanks, patti, but I really can't do that!
anyway, this was a lot of template drawing, cutting, fabric auditioning and cutting etc. so even if I could lean back, I'd be dropping all my stuff!
I can't even recline slightly.
I am on the stomach transplant list

I sure could use some input about this border. I love the idea of a special border, but given my skill level, would not even attempt the calliber of Leslie and Kathy and I'm sure many more who haven't posted pics yet. I have been looking at fabrics since we started this journey and haven't found anything that I just fell in love with . I had a dream last night with an "ah ha" moment and so this morning ran to Joann's and bought 2 trims that I think might work. My husband likes one better than the other and I of course like the opposite.
I could certainly use some opinions from my quilter friends.....

well, I could be wrong....but it seems obvious to me which one you like and which one he likes the other, lol!
I say, you like the crocheted one and dh likes the multi.
Let me go look again before I choose

Roxanne, the lace would be more hardwaring, once your quilt has been washed once or twice, I think the first one would start to look very sad. BUT you could perhaps have both in a way. Why not colour the lace??? Investigate fabric inks or paints, perhaps it you damp the lace, and then drop different inks or paints on it so that the colours merge, then set following directions (I think you would need to iron). Please test first on a scrap, I think a cotton lace would work better than a nylon one.
