I guess you would call this raw edge. I fused the pieces down and sewed around each piece and tried to match the thread to the color the of material.

very, very nice. thanks for the showing. the block color are very well balanced. i especially like the scrollwork in white. it shows much better in close-up.

Wow, thank you for the close ups, this shows off your quilt much better, there is so much to see in it. I agree the balance is perfect, and your colour sense second to none, what a treasure! Excellent!
