OK, I have all the big borders on, and the hearts done in the corners. Having enlarged my blocks from 7in to 10in, there seemed to be a lot of empty splace around the reverse app., so I came up with this extra. I've added heart flowers in places where Aie used just circles, then I've embroidered a sort of meandering vine to join them up, and heart 'leaves'.

It's not that easy to get the whole length of a border in, and still make out the embroidery

It's just beautiful, Elle, and I did my first block yesterday, but going to do it over today, if I can...DD is sick and needs me.
My block looks fine, I just don't want to do it this way.
    Yes, I'm a fussy-fart, mousie.
So very tolerant of others and my compliments are sincere, but very self...whatever
I just want to make sure that after a year of work, that my quilt will last a long time.
I think your quilt is coming along beautifully :-D

Lace, I LOVE those flowers instead of the circles!
I was thinking of a vine, but in a different way, lol!
Oh, I do love all the variety, we are all coming up with on this.
I might be joining you needle turners...it's looking like a strong possibility. Wish me much luck...so many things steal my time!
