Thanks Donna, I have now got to the stage where I need to get a really nice batik to do the sashing with between the blocks. Finishing off the second corner tonight, its slow though.

    How are you doing Donna??

Elle, I completed all my blocks, and we decided that it would be better to fit a king rather than wall hanging, no walls big enough, and I'm not giving this one away.

Going again, packing up last min. things then Alberta bound, neighbour staying in our house - less worries that way.

Taking my needle turn with me, made an additional 6 blocks, half of those complete, except for the embroidery - then onto sashings, taking my time now - not quite figured out what I'm doing - did some my own design to fit in with A.Rossman theme.

Have a great summer ladies, I always forget to log out...LOL

Donna, I can't wait to see what you are going to come up with, in fact...did you do the 6 extra as original designs? I have 4 extra originals in my center section and will have 4 more in the outer border...haven't done those yet and would be thrilled to see your designs.

Sandpat, I have completed some of the original designs and not sure which ones they are right now, and some of my designs are in the things I have already packed, so don't know where they are either. All of them except one, I think still need embroidery (bobbin work) on them. I did some of these with needle turn, now I'm getting onto it, and starting to like it, except I don't think I'm doing it quite right - we always doubt ourselves don't we....here are four of the ones that I am working on...

I'm using white fingernail pencil, as you can see on the bottom right, then when I'm finished just lay it in cold water and it disappears, and yes I don't stay in the lines very well, do I?

Those blocks look great. I didnīt know tht about the fingernail pencil, I have just been using an erazer to get the lines off.

Looking forward to seeing your finished design, its going to be in the blue tones I see where as mine definately leans towards pink
