    Winter is on it's way...the Blue Jays are back! :) And I filled the feeder with peanuts so my cats could be entertained watching them. :)

    Those are absolutely beautiful pictures! How do you keep squirrels out of your feeders? No one has ever been able to give me an answer......

    They look a bit different than the jays here. Mine all have the crest and seem to be mostly quile large. Mine are here all year round as are my cardinals

    Those have crests. They pull them back sometimes.

    Wow, I didn't know they would eat peanuts. They visit my feeder from time to time, but we have mostly cardinal blend stuff. I have the thistle stuff for the little birds, but no one eats it.
