    This is a pattern designed by a gal from Alaska. I redesigned some of the blocks.

    I satin stitched the pieces onto the background fabric with warm and natural batting. Then it was sandwiched with a fluffy polyester batting,so it is a soft,fluffy quilt. I worked on it( and several other projects) for a couple of months...it was fun! The quilting part of it was mostly done with Superior invisible( curse-a- lot) thread.

    Love it! I'm going to Alaska next summer. This would be such a nice rememberance. Did you get the pattern in Alaska? Any good quilt shops there not to miss?
