What a gorgeous quilt, I hope your church raffle makes you lots of money, it should with that quilt. I used to do the same thing for my church, then a friend and I alternated every other year, but stopped a couple years ago because of various problematic issues, then I moved away, so I no longer make the quilts, but I had a lot of fun while I did. My poor craft group suffered through stab stitch quilting the first year we made a quilt, as I hadn't learned how to do a running stitch, as I was pretty much a self-taught quilter. However, they hung in there and I think that quilt made the most money ever. I can do the running stitch now, but carpal tunnel syndrome doesn't permit me to do so, now I machine quilt, which I love. Keep making those quilts, it's a wonderful thing that you are doing.
