Good for you! I've made my last auction or raffle quilt for my church--made 3 so far and seems like it hardly gets much more than the cost of materials--so in the future I'll just donate cash amounting to the materials. Guess my church is just not into quilts so much. I did hear of one in county that got as high as $1000 and we were all amazed at that.

Update: AFTER the raffle-----we raised $2427. for the entire raffle. Quilt was prize #1. It's a small world; the gal who won it is the daughter of one of the members of my quilt club 30 miles away!!! Our ladies church group pays me for the fabric and machine quilting and I donated my time (good thing I didn't have to keep track of my hours!!! LOL). I noticed in the 'after' pics that I got a square in a block turned 45 degrees. Hope there wasn't more than that one. Thanks for all your comments. I'll attach a photo when it was on display.
