    I love the block, but I had to laugh at the picture of all your paper on the floor! Looks just like the floor of my sewing room! Paper-piecing is fun, but it sure can be a mess!

    You did a beautiful job on your block.
    It was like that for me at first. Then I purchased Carol Doak's book on 50 fabulous paper pieced stars and followed the CD and instructions to a T...after the first block I made 49 more - I'm hooked.

    Nice block. You did better than I did. I worked half a day on
    doing a house block by paper piecing. Could not get it right. I
    think I need some help. I even have a book on paper piecing.
    I ended up throwing away the pattern and cloth . Everything
    went into the basket.

    I'm so happy for you. Your block is lovely.

    lol. I have one started with a block for every state. i don't think im going to finish and i haven't even begun to take any of the paper off yet. can you imagine the mess im going to have

    Yes, it was worth it - it's beautiful. I'm anxious to try paper piecing but as yet haven't done it. You did a magnificent job.
