Yes, the mess is worth it because the block is great. Sometimes you make a mess before good things get done :o)

Didn't think it would take all day and make such a mess, so glad to finish one block. Think I will be making this project smaller than first thought.
A very pretty block. Now that your first one is done, the rest will go much faster, so keep on movin along. Would love to see it all completed. :)

It IS lovely!! But I agree, paper piecing is hard when you first start out. I have done very little, but I'm sure experience is a good teacher!

That is very pretty and I love the looks of PP but after trying it once I decided not my thing.

It would make a fabulous center for a round robin swap.

It is a beautiful block and by the time you get it squared up it will be great. Paper piecing is like anything else the more you practice the better you get. I am doing a quilt with lots of curves in it for the first time and it is taking me a long time but I'm learning and it will be worth it. Keep going.
    DON"T GIVE UP

Very pretty but do we have to clean up before we have to
leave our work. We will just be back. Ha!
