Oh yes, it is worth it! That is beautiful! And since this was yesterday when the mess was made, you will probably have forgotten about that part of it and will rearing to go again. It sure is pretty and just look how neat those points are!

You call that a mess?! lol I can do better than that without even lifting a finger
In my opinion it was worth it, your block is beautiful and love the colors you chose.
Maybe it is one of those quilts you should work off and on on. Maybe work on another quilt in between blocks. I am sure it will be worth it in the end. It is lovely
By the way, what is the name of the block and where did you get the pattern, please?

YES! Definitely! Your block was worth the time and effort. It is absolutely beautiful. And look at those points!

The first one does take the longest. You will develop a working rhythm and the following blocks will go faster.

Just a few things that help me: If the outside edges of the blocks are on the grain, I keep the paper on all of the blocks until just before assembling the quilt top. If the outside edges are on the bias, I will leave the paper on during assembly. When I remove the paper, I get a movie or two, sit down with my feet up, get a big glass of ice tea and put a trash container beside me.
