Didn't think it would take all day and make such a mess, so glad to finish one block. Think I will be making this project smaller than first thought.
If you take out the paper pieces over a waste basket it isn't such a mess. PP makes such nice block.

Before I sew I take my pattern pieces and sew them with a unthreaded machine and a universal heavy duty needle. Stitch on all your stitching lines. I also machine baste around all my pieces so I can maintain my 1/4 inch seam allowance. Do not remove the paper until you have pieced the whole block.

I struggle with paper piecing. I can't get the reverse in my brain. Last time I cut templates and then stitched. Saved a lot of fabric. LOL Your's is great!

A block a day - in 12 days look what you'll have. A beautiful quilt. Don't give up. The more you do, the easier it will become. At least that's what I'm told. ;)

Love the block, the mess can be cleaned up and you are still left with a beautiful PP block . Don't give up, it looks great.
