It really is satisfying to have an idea and see it come to life, become something real.
I'm about to sew the second border side on. Normally I would sew two opposite sides, then the other two. Because of how the scallop design in the fabric needs to line up, I want to get one of the corners done and see it before I sew the other sides on so I sewed the top and one side on. If I need to adjust it I can do that before doing the other sides.
