    The body is done!! I like this one, it's so bright and cheerful, and it came together very well. The border fabric is in the dryer and if all goes well it should be done this weekend.

    I will be quilting it myself. I got a cross hatch stencil and long arm ruler for it. I plan on doing cross hatch in the center applique block how it would likely be done in an older quilt with hand quilting. I'm still thinking about the rest of the quilting.

    I joined the Sharon Schamber Network and I've been watching tons of LA quilting videos. I need to move my laptop to my long arm and work along with the tutorials. I also ordered several of her templates with different feather types.

    I'm about to put the first border side on. I've figured out where the center needs to be in the motif so that the mitered corners meet at the same point.
