Smile All Scrappy D4P done unconventionally

This was not done the typical D4P way. With a stack of 4P's I wanted to use up and the 2" strips needing taming, I thought the D4P would be a good pattern. I mainly wanted to use up short strips. The 4" squares were precut too so it was just a matter of putting the parts together. It works just as fast this way too and it's all scrappy!! Hope you enjoy it like I do!! Special thanks to a friend who gave me the wildlife panel I cut up for this quilt and other scraps too! Where would we be without our quilting friends?

Good going!! You certainly showed an easy way to use up some of your stash, I like the white sashing with the busy bright colors you used. Great Job !!

What a wonderful quilt. It is a very happy quilt. Those special little blocks that you search for every time you use the quilt are quite special. What would we do without scraps?
