    Narrow cream (same as the X in the blocks) border to frame and highlight the secondary pattern. After that I think a piano key would be lovely.

    I would put a small brown border around it and then I would put a border of just 4 patches or piano keys all the way around it. It is turning out so beautiful!

    I'm not sure the brown squares on the left go with the whole picture but I can see using the browns more solidly in the border. Best of luck in your choices and Best Stitches!!!

    i LOVE LOVE LOVE THE QUILT but that border on the left really takes away from the quilt. I would go with a thin color then a wider border. gret job.

    I like the idea of maple leaves for the border to go with the gorgeous colors in the quilt.

    Love the quilt and it's beautiful colors! IMHO I think your border is too busy and competes with the pattern.
