    It's darling! Love the zig-zag.

    That happened to me recently. I had made a quilt top just because I liked the pattern. It sat around for a while until my DD's friend got pregnant and was having a baby boy. I had just the thing! Sometimes you just don't know why you're making something, but a purpose evolves.

    I use that zig-zag stitch a lot of baby/toddler quilts. It is fun to experiment with the pre-programed stitches in my machine. If you have it, try the wavy line one. I have used a short satin stitch instead of tying also.
