OK, I could not resist- I emailed the distributor, and they replied that B is for Bulldog or Boxer.

So now we know.

(I dont think the picture looks like a Bulldog/Boxer, but it is still cuuuuuute!)

Also the B with the dog, the one on the right that you can see in the picture of the quilt but not on the bag looks to have a bone in it's mouth so maybe B for Bone or B for "Bow-wow"
