Always Believe In Magic
I started this quilt last year but finally finished it; put together from color book pages and internet pictures, just winged it; if to do today, would do it in blocks for sure. It is all hand appliqued; hand quilted, there are certain trims like the pink princess dress trim and hair trim on blonde one that came from the wedding veil I made the Mom of the little 5 yr. old girl I am gifting it to, some special memories. The hand quilting is a bazillion stars; in all colors of the quilt; some are pastel so don't show so much in picture and then a "fancy" spiderweb in one corner for good luck and my hand in the lower right corner, so it will always be there for her. The quilt had been folded before I took the pics so some of the faces need to be puffed out a bit. I still have the label to print but it will be a small version of the unicorn that is sleeping on the cloud. Hope this won't be too much to post but going to try to post the quilt in a collage so that the individual figures can also be seen easier. Will see what happens. Thanks for taking a peek! Oh, yes; since there was a door on the castle, thought it should open and it does to a secret pocket.

This is beyond wonderful! I can totally feel the love and delight in your words as you describe the details. A bazillion stars done by hand, your handprint quilted into it, the puffy princesses, mom's veil . You've outdone yourself. Priceless gift!
