I was just reading about "cheddar" quilts recently too, but I can't remember where. I don't get F&P so that's not it. Quilter's Newsletter, maybe?

I love it! Looks like 30's fabrics, the colors are great - I would have bought it, too.
Someone's great -grandma probably made it, and the current owner either bought it themselves or doesn't remember great-grandma so the quilt has no sentimental value to them.
I can see great times are ahead for this wonderful quilt now!

But we might walk right by 500 bucks worth of fishing tackle or dolls. Quilts just aren't everyone's cup of tea. If it were it would be a, well not boring, to us anyway, but a fairly boring world.
