    This is one of a collection of 650 red and white quilts owned by a collector in New York. The collector is 80 years old, and the quilts area going on display at Thinc Design in NYC. This quilt was made around the turn of the century. Have to admit, I've never seen anything like it.

    I hope some of our NY friends will go to the exibit and post pictures here for the rest of us to see. Reads like the showing will be awesome.

    Were you not able to see the pic? I was afraid the link might not work because the Wall Street Journal is picky about that.

    The picture is there. I did one something like that in blue & whites and then appliqued hummingbirds on it. The original quilt pattern is called Circle of Illusions and my the time I finished it, I named it Circle of Migrains. I too, hope some of the board's New York people wisit the exhibit and post pictures for us.

    I've sent the link to a friend in NY hoping to encourage her to check this out. I am in lust over the red and white. Someone should put together a book about this collection.
