AMAZING Wedding Quilt
An AMAZING Wedding Quilt...whew...where to start. The groom is my brother's wife's brother. The bride and groom met 3 months ago. First time I met her, was at my grandfather's funeral. She is a lovely woman and is a professional baker. This is both of their second marriages and they both have children. A week before the wedding, the bride and groom hinted at wanting a quilt. So, after finding out a little about both of them, off I went to the local quilt shop. I found an AMAZING jelly roll and decided another jelly roll quilt was in their future.

After I thought about which design I wanted to do, I dove in and started sewing groups of strips together.

Then I cut the strip groups into squares, sewed them together and cut them apart again and rearranged them. I figured...this will be easy!!!

Thankfully I was at my mom's and was able to use her BIG dining table to lay everything out...

Finally after lots of sewing, cutting, pressing, sewing, cutting, pressing, sewing, pressing...the quilt top was DONE!!!

Next came the backing, sandwiching, basting and binding. After it was all said and done, this is what AMAZING looks like!!! The bride and groom will be getting it today...a couple of days after the wedding, but still made with love. Their label has their names on it and "Joined In Love On July 6th, 2013" with a couple of enterlocking rings!
