Default Angel for our Head Angel

My guild has a subset group called Quilting Angels. We usually number about 25, and meet every week to make or finish assembling 'community' quilts. We often receive quilt tops or orphan blocks that just need sandwiching or assembling or whatever is needed. And we have our own Orphan Block Queen! No one else can take a collection of mismatched and incompatible blocks and make Art with them like she does!! Some ladies prefer to only work on piecing, binding, or sandwiching quilts. And don't forget our cheering squad! If someone can't make quilts anymore, they can give great advice and urge the rest of us on to greater works! We donate about 500 a year to worthy causes.
Keeping a bunch of crazy quilters in line every week is a job! I fear we may be simply wearing out our hard working leader... She had a few health issues recently, so we each made a block to put into a quilt for her. DANG I don't have a pic of the entire quilt yet, but here is my block. I hope you like it...

Your angel is special because she looks so carefree and happy. 500 quilts a year - almost 10 per week! That's amazing. And with 25 people, that's 20 quilts per person per year. Your group sure does good work.

Although we do have a dedicated group, we don't make ALL the quilts in Angels. Some are donated by other guild members or from outside sources, either completed quilts or just tops or blocks given to the Angels to finish. Our talented Orphan Block Artists simply amaze me with their creations! Truly silk purses from sow's ears!
