    Your quilt is very beautiful, I just love the colrs - they go together so well. But I know what you mean by being a scrappy kind of girl". I have so many scraps that lately I have just been making scrappy quilts and they look marvelous! And the best thing about them, I don't have to spend too much money making them (outside of sashings, batting, thread and backing). Since most of my quilts are being given away or being used for a charity, this is good for me.

    It really is a very lovely quilt. As you say, it doesn't sing, but if the recipient is happy then your job is done. It's hard to work on a quilt you're not "in love" with so kudos for completing a labor of love.

    It's beautiful and having made this quilt for a king-size bed, it works up easily. I'm sure your DD will love it, even though you may prefer scrappy quilts. Great job.
