The monthly block one? If it is, can you post a larger picture of it? I have that one started - haven't touched it in years, but it's intended for one of my sons. I would love to see yours!

Yes it is. From the book, "Spirit of the Northwoods" by Debbie Field. My son gave it to me as a xmas present 2 months after I started quilting! I completed one 20 inch block each month then assembled it and machine stitched in the ditch in every vertical and horizontal row. Just finished putting the whole thing together in April & it is now on his king size bed.

The best part was choosing all the fabrics for each block. I followed Debbie Field’s appliqué design for 5 of the months, altered 4 of her block designs to make them more personal and substituted 3 of my own designs. I will try to post as many of the blocks as I can here.

For some reason they don't post in the same order I put them in. Also I didn't follow Debbie's monthly order. Moved them around to personalize the months better.

May - this was her June, but I customized it with a boat instead of fly fishing.

April - I didn't like the moose so I moved her May to April

I also laid out the quilt blocks 4 across & 3 down instead of 3 across & 4 down as it fit Bart & Becky's bed better. Had to add wider borders too.

July - put in a tent & campfire instead of her hikiing boots.

June - I designed this one - fussy cut the eagles.

August - substituted this loon scene from a wall hanging pattern (Loon Dance by Bee Creative Studio)

Here's the rest. For some reason I don't have a close up of November - I designed my own deer scene with fussy cut deer. So that's it. I'm so happy to share these with you. If you have any questions or want more specifics just let me know. Ann

All of your quilts are really nice, Are the picture quilts/scenic quilts fused or appliqued?

The center of each 20" block is appliqued. I used fusible then a tiny tiny zigzag stitch around every fused piece.

TOTALLY AWESOME :!: :!: That is one spectular quilt! thanks for sharing it. Now that you have practiced, you are surely ready to make mine, right? I can send you my address and you can get started. My birthday is in August so that should give about a month to do it.
    Piece of cake right?
Seriously, though, it is a beautiful quilt and you should be very proud of it. I like the idea fo 20 inch blocks. Really nice.
