Citrus Belt Quilters is the local guild sponsoring this show and Home Tour. The quilts are all displayed outside (it is So. Calif) and then a featured artist was inside the library building. There were some vendors too and a Home Tour where quilts were on dislplay throughout the historic homes. I forgot to photograph the outside of the homes. We were not allowed to photograph inside. However, the featured artist was simply amazing. Her wearable art was exquisite! I was also impressed with all the applique work I saw throughout the show. Enjoy these photos:

Hi Judee... it was this Redlands Home and Quilt Show that got me and my friend Judy hooked on quilting! We actually went to see the victorian style homes but they were all decorated with these amazing quilts...at the time, watercolor quilts and portrait quilts seemed to be the rage. It was the art quilts and the bright colored quilts that caught our attention. We joined our local quilt guild, the Nite Owls of Ontario, right after that and took a beginners quilting class from guild within a month.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't been to that quilt show in a couple years now. Either last year or the year b4 they didn't have the Redlands show for some reason and haven't gone back since....thought that the collaboration of the CBQ and historical society had ceased. Obviously not, and gratefully so.

    There is next year.

    warm quilt hugs, sue

Thank you for sharing your quilt show, I love to see all of these.

Love the very creative orange label one, I suppose it was made using that photo copier tecnique.

Be good with wine labels as well, just a thought, "lil ole wine drinkin me"

    Elle hic :D
