    That's so pretty!

I was in a store that sells older fabric, overstock fabric, etc. and sometimes they have some cool finds. Anyway...they had that fabric toweling that you used to find in towel holders in bathrooms...the kind you pulled on and it turned from one roller to the other...remember those?

Anyway, the factory must have gone out of business or something because they had the toweling there and was selling it in 2 yard lengths for $2. I bought several packages of it and found that cutting it into 3 pieces and hemming the top and the bottom makes the perfect length for kitchen towels. I have started doing some embroidery on them to give as gifts!

I was looking at those towels just yesterday wondering how'd they work with embroidery. Does anyone have any good ideas to make these into little aprons?

Loretta, that's huck toweling and you do Swedish Weaving on it. I bought a whole bolt of it at JoAnn. It was the only one they had. The kind they have now is like cheese cloth. I was all over the net looking for the fabric.
