    That's what it's called, the "10 minute block"
    Another thing that makes this quilt so fast is I usually use the flange binding (dual). I machine sew it onto the back first and then machine sew on the front. Sure saves a lot of time.

    Thank you so much! It certainly is a beautiful quilt. I have made these blocks for charity quilts, but they don't look as good as yours since I was just using random pieces of fabric
