Another Baby Quilt top done for Christmas donation
#12
Hey reneebobby - some of the blocks i bought on eBay and they were not washed - but the flannel was pre-washed as it shrinks so much. Hopefully, when it is all done and I wash it, it will only have a small amount of shrinkage in the blocks. I pre-wash all my fabric unless it is flannel for rag quilts.

Thanks all of you for your lovely comments - I enjoy making quilts for kids and it gives me practice for the quilts I choose to do for family and friends. I can see such a difference - even in this little quilt as I have learned so much from many of you on this board - just matching up the blocks has become easier. I have been so thankful for many tips and hints you have given to help me make these tops.

Hi Chairjogger - I am a volunteer for the Citizen's Review Board of Oregon. We are members of the Oregon Judicial Department. We review cases of Children and Youth who are in foster care.
When I started to make quilts I thought it would be nice to make some to be given to children who go into foster care over the Christmas Holidays, as they will be without their families and won't get many Christmas presents. I wish I could make more - but time and money - I am certain you know what I mean. Thanks for your positive comments.
