Terri and Patti---cute second blocks. You two are so funny, knocking these out in a competition, huh?

Terri--I would have suggested buttons for eyes, but I love the hearts. That is a LOT of eggs that poor chick laid. I never thought of cutting the eggs out of the fabric (duh!!)-cute idea.

Patti--Your chicken is really cute too. I did not notice the chicken wire not being in the same direction until you pointed it out--and even then I really had to stare to see a difference. I think the block is perfect!!! It is a really cute chick. I will send you some egg fabric in your package. I am "collecting" some goodies for you, so it may take me a few more days.

    Where are yours, Marcia? lol

I will tell you tho...when cutting out the eggs, make sure you cut off ALL the black. Don't leave one little speck....

Terri...I really like the heart idea for the eyes..it worked out great!!!

I haven't had a spare second today to work on a block...so I'll have to decide what to do next and get started on it..maybe tomorrow.

They are all appliqued on. They are really fun and addicting to do!
Just try one, bet you can't stop at just one!! lol
I have to stop making them at the moment.
I have the steamers I have to finish for a Hail and Farewell on Monday.
Tonight we have the Submarine Birthday Ball, so if I'm missing, you now know why.
Over the weekend, the steamers need to be finished and I need to do the Dotee Dolls for the swap AND, I have to figure out WHAT to do for the border of the IRR. So much to do, so little time.
Plus, the power keeps going out, and I DO NOT LIKE THAT!!!
