    I'll try to get some kind of diagram done for you, but for right now, I always placed a yellow/gold patch in the center. Then I did the red and greens for the rest of the patches, alternating them, of course.

    Red/ Green/Red = top row
    Green/Gold/Green = center row
    Red/Green/Red = bottom row this would be one of the 9 patches

    Next 9 patch:

    green/red/green = top row
    red/gold/red = middle row
    green/red/green =bottom row Does this help, Tinker?

    Three color D9P! Wow what a beautiful quilt. I will have to try that. Love the quilting also. I always have to send mine out for quilting. I have just about room for my stash. I could always get rid of DH....NO, wait, he supplies my fun money LOL
