    Thanks for the advice - I tried that - didn't work. Maybe the gold fabric stretched???

    Yes, it was tricky. The first time I ironed the steam a seam to the back the glue went right through the fabric and the fabric stuck to the ironing board. Had to buy a new cover. lol
