I hope you do well with it in the show. It is a wonderful quilt. I spy quilts are great for kids. They are so much fun. It can be taken anywhere...like a traveling activity.

Thanks for the wonderful comments. Our show is not judged so that is good. Our members have done many beautiful quilts which will blow mine away but that is ok. We have to start somewhere. I did the Eye spy exchange on this board. After doing it this year I organized one with the guild. I'm in the process of making two more. They are alot of fun. Thanks. My black is Kona black and the sashing is 1.5 inches. I tried sewing without the sashing but had a hard time putting the busy patterns touching.

I know this thread is ancient, but I had to say that I thought the diagonal quilting was really nice with the squares.

It is wonderful & will be loved. I love the black sashing around the blocks. Makes the blocks really pop. Also love the affect your quilting made on it. You truly done a great job & it deserves an A+.
