You did a beautiful job, I'm sure it will be appreciated by the family. I too am sad knowing this soldier has made the ultimate sacrifice. If you can please pass on to the family my condolences too. I will keep them, and their son in my prayers.

Aw, Sue, I'm sorry you had this on your plate this past week, after the sew-in where you'd already worked so hard for soldiers. But your work is beautiful, thoughtful, and so meaningful.
When you talk about making quilts for your son's unit, is this the kind of quilt you always do? Where is he stationed now? I pray God I never have to do this for any of Bert's boys.
