    Although you didn't achieve the look you wanted, your quilt is exceptionaly lovely wirh the soft colors blending well together. The plaid (or stripe?) sets the design apart and makes it distinctive. From the picture, it doesn't look like a typical D9P. I like it very much and it can come live at my house any time.
