    ANOTHER GREAT FIND AND A QUESTION

    The thrift shops keep supplying me with lovely fabrics. This one is from Savers. 5 yds. for $4.99.

    My friend, Connie, found this quilting book at Big Lots today for just $3.00. Inside are wonderful quilts shown, and then there are 50 patterns in the book as well. However, one of the quilts shown does not have the pattern in the book. Does anyone know the name of this block?

    5 yds for just $4.99.

    I would like to make this block, but I have never seen it before and do not know the name of it. In the book it is named after a friend of the quilt maker.

    On the bottom of the page it says "Ribbons". But I guess that is the name of the quilt.

    The light pink area reminds me of the V pattern that Eleanor Burns has in her Victory Quilts book.

    That is a beautiful block but it's new to me. I have no idea of the name. You sure did get a great find on that fabric.
