    Both are nice but I like the hippo one the best, just a kid at heart.

    Love it! How long did it take you to make it? Did you cut the I Spy hexies out with a scissor or rotary cut? I really like your choice of the darker green.

    Annaquilts, it did take me quite a while because of all the different fabrics. Some of the boardmembers sent me squares also I rotary cut them, used a template.

    I got quite some from boardmembers and I collected fabrics myself. It took a while before I could finish it because I didn't want too many repeats. Most of my fabrics are from FabricShack.

    This turned out fantastic...how lucky to to find the backing fabric with the hexagons! I SPY some familiar fabrics!

    The backing was waiting for something.......I purchased it a long time ago, hoping to make bed covers for the grands but my DDIL doesn't need them so I put it away again. When I was shopping my stash for backing I found it again.
