It free motions alot better than my old Janome. In fact I've been so busy finishing projects that I haven't posted any pictures yet. But I will soon.
Ok.. so what do I need to do to get one of these machines?.. Is the deal to only go to a quilt show?.. I am going to check my JoAnnes tonight I hope. What is a good price on a machine like this, cause I think I may be able to get a 50 percent off machines.

Happy Quilting & if we don't see you until New Year's, we'll know what you're up to. Your new toy came just in time for your vacation, & couldn't have come at a better time. Life is good.

What fun you are going to have. Love the quilting room as well. My husband is in the process of making a thread tree but yours really puts mine to shame. Happy quilting.

Eddie, I am so happy for you!! What a great new toy. I remember you telling us about the deal you got when you got your new machine. I can't wait to see you make some more great projects, like your own quilt labels.

I can on my QC-1000 since it has a larger throat that this new embroidery machine, so I'll do my quilting on the QC-1000 that I have.

Love the embroidery too. That looks so fun, so much to do!! I don't see how you do it. Great work... show us more!!

The QC-1000 retails for about $2,800, I believe, and the dealer I bought it at had it on sale for $1,000 off that, so was $1,800. They gave me a good trade-in on the machine I traded in, so final price was $1,300. And then brother had the rebate on the free embroidery machine which retails for $499. So it was a good deal! This rebate ended back in October, so I'm not sure if they're going to do another one.
