That turned out great,...and if they are not your colors, they sure agree with you. I like that you can see each individual one, very well.
I have the pattern, just have to learn, what kind of fabric print to work with...when I get time, lol! :D

I was amazed when you said the first quilt had 12" repeats! It worked beautifully, and it encourages me to look at fabrics in a new way. I thought I needed to look for more inches in the repeats to make enough blocks for a quilt. I have the book, so I need to read it again!

Joanne - I just did a mini one with fabric that had 6" repeats. The book says as well that if you want to go bigger, you can cut 2 repeats fro each strip - then some of your hexs will start repeating so you can turn the triangles around to change the effect. Clear as mud? Heck, you've got the book, she puts it more clearly. :?

I understood, K3N! Surprises me, but I got it! You can twist them around, and around to get 3 looks from each cut.

Yeah, I do it now just to see which I like best - it's AMAZING how different the three look sometimes! Such fun too, I LOVE it! :D

I spend way too much time spinning them around to decide which way to sew them.
